  Hi Ricardo.
  
  It really varies. During the first half of this year I travelled once every few weeks to give a seminar or have meetings with colleagues. It was a lot of fun (and I collected LOADS of air-miles by traveling back and forth across the Atlantic!), however that amount of travel can be quite disruptive to my work in the lab. So in the second half of the year I’ve tried to stay closer to home and only really visited other scientists around Cambridge, Oxford and London, maybe once a month.
